Crater Lake
National Park
I decided to get away from fireworks for once and spend my 1999 Independence Day holiday up at Crater Lake National Park, Oregon. This would be my last major hiking expedition before coming down later that year with Grave's Disease.

Most of my best shots on this trip were taken with my 35mm Nikon F3 and I used the Instamatic for other shots, mostly outside the park. This is the Peyton Bridge over Lost Creek Lake.

The Rogue River flows through hardened ancient lava flows at Natural Bridge just outside Crater Lake National Park.
